Bart Bleijerveld
Bart Bleijerveld co-founded Better Future Factory, a multi-disciplinary company focused on design, environmental issues, and engineering. Better Future Factory finds and develops creative yet realistic and sustainable solutions for the most pressing issues especially those related to the plastic waste problem. The company incorporates the underlying principles of the circular economy to close loops, re-cycle materials, increase value, and develop businesses that contributes to a better future for all.
Bart also co- founded the following two ventures: Perpetual Plastic and Refil. Perpetual Plastic develops and rents out and interactive recycle installations to inspire, inform and create awareness for plastic waste problems. Refil develops and sells high quality 3D printer filament (the “ink” for 3D printers) made out of car dashboards, PET soda bottles and the inside of refrigerators.
Bart graduated from Delft University of Technology with a Masters Degree in Industrial Design Engineering. During his masters studies he worked on the design of a next generation first-aid stretcher which resulted in a patented technology.
