Marijke Hecht

Marijke Hecht is the former Director of Education for Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Before working at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Marijke was the TreeVitalize Director for Western PA Conservancy, and the Executive Director for the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association. Marijke has a Master’s Degree in botany and plant biology from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s Degree in nutritional anthropology from Hampshire College. Marijke is currently working towards her Doctor of Philosophy in Learning Sciences and Policy from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education.
